Over the past 6 months, a team of highly celebrated and accomplished individuals set out to build a STEM extracurricular program that enables underrepresented communities with innovative STEM engineering disciplines, provides a tenacious approach to affordable hands-on learning that complements academics and upholds integrity and accountability as pillars to our organization. An attempt to challenge Silicon Valley's diversity and inclusion problem with subversive community transformation that targets to invite historically marginalized students to work, learn and build with emerging technologies.
NSBE Jr: BAY AREA
The NSBE Jr. Pre-College Initiative (PCI) is a non-profit program designed to stimulate the interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields, or STEM. The goal is to encourage students in grades 2–12 to attend college and pursue technical degrees. Our PCI program provides activities to help students discover firsthand how engineering and technology relate to the world around them and discover the excitement of academic excellence, leadership, technical development and teamwork.
Drone Education
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or UAVs will be the future way of transporting goods. In this session, students will learn how to approach bringing drones into society in a way that benefits humanity and serves all people. An innovative way into aeronautical engineering disciplines.
AI for Good
How can AI and machine learning be applied to solve some of society's biggest challenges? This module teaches students fundamental computer science skills with a hint of Artificial Intelligence to teach students on how AI can be leveraged in their very own communities
